Reading and using Afterlo

Accessibility

We want you to be able to read, navigate and use Afterlo in the way that works for you.

Updated

Our approach

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as a design and development reference. This is our target, not a claim of certified or complete conformance.

The site includes a skip-to-content link, descriptive headings, keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators and labelled form fields. Layouts adapt to smaller screens, and text can be enlarged with browser controls. Motion is reduced when the site recognises your reduced-motion preference.

Practical limits

The newsletter form needs JavaScript. If you cannot use it, email us for help; an email enquiry does not itself subscribe you. Most reading and ordinary page links work without JavaScript.

External websites and documents may have different accessibility support. Decorative background films are not needed to understand the accompanying text. Complex book-style previews also have ordinary links to the relevant reading pages.

We have not completed a comprehensive independent accessibility audit or a full assistive-technology compatibility review. Please tell us about barriers rather than assuming a feature is intended to work that way.

Tell us about a barrier

Email hello@afterlo.com. Include the page URL, what you were trying to do and what got in the way. If you’re comfortable sharing them, your browser, device and assistive technology can help us reproduce the issue.

Let us know if a different format would help. We will use the report to investigate the problem and work on a practical response. See contact information and our privacy policy for how to reach us and how correspondence is handled.
