Using Afterlo
These terms cover Afterlo’s website and editorial content. Afterlo is a lifestyle publication for adults aged 21 and over. If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the site. Questions can be sent to hello@afterlo.com.
You do not need a reader account to browse. The public site is an editorial service, not a checkout, dispensary, medical service or personal consultation. A reference to a product or brand does not make that product available through Afterlo.
The privacy policy explains personal information. Newsletter signup is a separate choice, with email confirmation and an unsubscribe option. Reading the site or sending an enquiry does not subscribe you.
Editorial information
Our guides, stories and recipes provide general information. They do not provide personalised medical, legal, nutritional or other professional advice. Do not use an article to diagnose or treat a condition, choose an individual dose, or delay appropriate professional care.
Research findings depend on the material studied, participants, preparation and methods. An ingredient study, maker’s statement or reader’s experience does not establish how a finished product will affect you. A published article can become outdated as evidence, labels and rules change.
Our editorial standards explain sourcing, corrections and the distinction between reported facts, interpretation and hands-on work. If you find an error, send the article URL and the detail you think needs checking.
Products and recipes
THC and mushroom products can differ substantially in ingredients, strength, intended use and legal status. Product references are tied to the stated example and date. Check the current package and rules where you are; a page being accessible in a location does not establish that a product or activity is lawful there.
Recipe quantities and directions apply to the ingredients and preparation described. A recipe does not establish a finished product’s potency, suitability for you or safety under different conditions. Do not substitute an ingredient merely because it has a similar name, or treat a suggested portion as a personal intake recommendation.
Follow current product restrictions and appropriate food-safety practices. Keep intoxicating products and prepared foods containing them away from children and pets, label them clearly and do not serve them to someone without their informed agreement. Do not drive or operate machinery while impaired.
Any statement that a recipe or product was tested must describe work actually performed. Illustration, research and a developed method are not evidence of a kitchen trial or hands-on review.
Content and permitted use
You may read the site, share links and use content in ways permitted by applicable law. Copyright and other rights in Afterlo’s original writing and design belong to their respective rights holders. Photographs, logos, quotations and other third-party material may have separate owners and conditions.
For republication, licensing or another use that needs permission, email us with the material and intended use. Nothing in these terms removes lawful quotation, fair use, fair dealing or other rights that apply to you.
Do not impersonate a contributor, misrepresent Afterlo’s endorsement, bypass access controls, attempt to access private records, distribute malicious code or deliberately disrupt the site. Public access does not grant permission to use restricted staff or preview features.
Messages and submissions
When you contact us, share only material you are entitled to provide. Keep general enquiries free of passwords, unnecessary health details and other sensitive information. A message does not create a confidential professional relationship.
Sending a question, pitch, recipe idea or brand suggestion does not guarantee a reply, coverage, publication or a commercial agreement. We may use the information to assess and respond to the enquiry. We will seek appropriate permission before publishing private correspondence or identifying a private source.
No ownership transfer or broad publishing licence is required merely to email us. Commissioned work, licensing, paid partnerships and any other commercial service need a separate agreement.
Links and commercial relationships
External links take you to services controlled by others. Their content, privacy practices, sales terms and availability can change. We do not control their fulfilment, product quality or customer support.
Our disclosures explain how paid partnerships, affiliate compensation, supplied products and Afterlo-owned interests must be identified. A brand mention or ordinary source link alone does not mean the brand sponsors Afterlo.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the site useful and accurate, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free material or that a page fits every reader’s circumstances. We may correct content, change features or restrict access to protect the site and its users.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not provide a guarantee about a third party’s product, an external service or an outcome from relying on general editorial information. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits non-waivable consumer or other legal rights.
If something goes wrong, contact us with the page and relevant details so we can understand the issue. These terms do not require you to waive a statutory complaint route or accept mandatory arbitration.
Updates and questions
We will post changes to these terms here and update the date above. New terms do not retrospectively change a separate agreement or remove rights that the law protects.
For permissions, questions or concerns, email hello@afterlo.com. Our contact page explains what to include for corrections and privacy enquiries.
