Commercial transparency

Partnerships, products and paid links

You should be able to tell when a commercial relationship is part of what you’re reading. This is how those relationships will be handled at Afterlo.

Updated

Supplied products and support

If a product, trip or other support was supplied in connection with coverage, that relationship will be stated with the piece. Receiving a product is different from testing it, and a free sample is different from payment for an article. The wording should tell you what actually happened.

Sending a product or pitching a story does not guarantee coverage or a favourable conclusion. A gift does not turn a maker’s claim into an independently verified fact.

Afterlo’s own interests

If Afterlo covers a product or business it owns, or a contributor has a relevant financial or personal connection, that interest must be identified with the coverage. It should not be presented as an unrelated recommendation.

A brand shown as an editorial reference or mentioned in a guide is not automatically a client, partner or sponsor. We do not ask readers to infer a relationship from a logo, link style or general statement on this page.

Questions and other disclosures

For a question about a relationship, email hello@afterlo.com with the article or link you mean.

The AI assistance policy explains how generated text and visuals are used. The privacy policy covers personal information and email choices. Neither a commercial label nor a general disclaimer replaces accurate reporting about a product.
