Four Sigmatic connects its origins with the Finnish countryside and the Isokauppila family's mushroom-foraging traditions. Founder Tero Isokauppila appears in the company's account of how those ingredients became part of a coffee business. The connection is practical as well as visual: coffee is the familiar starting point, with mushrooms added in several different preparations.

Today the catalog includes ground and whole-bean coffee, instant coffee, pods and creamers, alongside other mixes and supplements. Focus Ground Coffee is a brewing product, while Original Mushroom Coffee is an instant format and Focus Creamer is a separate addition to a cup. The differences matter when comparing products that share the Four Sigmatic name. Their recipes and ingredient combinations are not interchangeable simply because each includes mushrooms.
